Prior to commencement of the Pre-Match on 22 October, the shooting range if Off Limits to everyone except Match Officials and competitors in the Pre-Match using the Self-Test Chronograph and Function Firing bay.

Once the Pre-Match begins, competitors in the Main Match may view the Pre-Match in progress, but only from the spectator area. They may also use the Self-Test Chronograph and Function Firing bay.

This means competitors in the Main Match are not  permitted, under any circumstances, to actually enter the stages, for any reason, and must not in any other way interfere with the progress of the Pre-Match.

Competitors failing to to comply with the above are subject to Section 8.6 and/or Section 10.6 of the rulebook .

By the same token, stages which are not being used during the Pre-Match, are also Off Limits to all competitors, at all times.
