Flying directly into Bali?

If you're flying from overseas firstly into Jakarta International Airport, look for the "IPSC World Shoot XV Welcome Desk", situated before the Immigration counters in the arrivals hall. Match Staff on duty at the airport will be wearing match identification, and they will assist you with your "Visa On Arrival" and related formalities.

Once Immigration formalities have been completed, proceed to the baggage claim area.

Porters in the arrival hall offering their services are not associated with the match organisers, and will expect a small tip (US$1 per bag). If you decide to use a porter, don't let him mistakenly grab your bag containing your firearms and ammunition, and wander off to the regular Customs counters, as this will cause problems.

After you've retrieved all your bags, the match delegate on duty will assist you with clearance of your firearms and ammunition with Police and Customs.

Once those formalities have been completed, you'll be escorted with your baggage through the regular Customs channels and then onto the nearby domestic terminal by shuttle bus, where the local match delegate and Police will assist you to check-in for your domestic flight to Bali.

When you arrive in Bali, you'll be in the domestic section of the terminal, which is a short walk away from the adjacent international section of the same terminal. A local match delegate will assist you with local formalities and with the final part of your journey to your hotel, including delivery of your firearms and ammunition to the official armoury situated a designated hotel.

After you check in at your hotel, you should immediately proceed to the Secretariat at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, in order to obtain your match package.
