Ammunition Shipped As Freight

If you intend to ship your ammunition as freight, ensure that your bill of lading or airwaybill is issued on a CIF Jakarta basis, and is addressed as follows:

Consignee & Notify Party:

Mr. Chahya Aziz,
Wakil Sekjen II Koni Pusat,
JL Pintu I, Senayan,
Jakarta 10270, Indonesia.

Contact Person: Mr. Jay Reyes

Tel: +62 8169 83 850

Note that due to National Public Holidays from 27 September to 5 October, you should plan to avoid your shipment arriving during that period.

Each participant with a firearms permit is entitled to duty and tax free admittance of a maximum of 1,000 rounds of ammunition shipped as freight, whether shipped individually or consolidated with other participants, provided that the official freight forwarder above is used as consignee.

However fees for import handling, customs clearance, storage and delivery may be applicable. For more information, ask your freight forwarder to contact their handling agent in Jakarta, but note that Match Organisers will not outlay or advance any funds in respect of any local charges.

When consolidating shipments from multiple competitors, remember to include a list of names, so that Indonesian Customs will know how many competitors are covered by the shipment (e.g. 20,000 rounds for 20 competitors).

Ammunition shipments sent as freight must arrive Jakarta no later than 10 October 2008.

Match Organisers accept no responsibility whatsoever in respect of any ammunition shipped as freight until physically delivered, free of all charges, in accordance with the instructions given by the Secretariat. All shipments delivered will be accepted strictly on an "as is" basis.
